Based in the nether-worlds of London and Brighton, Flashguns are the future of music, partly due to the fact that none of them is even 20 years old yet. The maturity of the music belies the fact some of the collective haven’t started shaving yet, taking in weighty influences that include The Cure, Joy Division and The Smiths. Age aside, Radio 1 has been playing them, and now Concrete and Glass gets in on the act too.
